Hanae Jonas grew up in southern Vermont. Her poetry has appeared in West Branch, Four Way Review, jubilat, The Journal, The Volta, and elsewhere. A graduate of Smith College and the Helen Zell Writers' Program at the University of Michigan, her writing has also been supported by fellowships and residencies from Kundiman, Mineral School, and the Stadler Center for Poetry. In Fall 2018, she will be in residence at the Vermont Studio Center and Ox-Bow School of Art. Currently she lives in Los Angeles.
